The Shuford Away Program offers students the opportunity to engage in transformative global entrepreneurship experiences through semester and summer study abroad options. These programs provide students with unique opportunities for personal and professional growth in dynamic international settings.

Applications open and close on the following dates for each term.
We strongly recommend starting the application process early to ensure ample time for completion. Advising for all programs is available with Molly Matthews (Summer Away in Prague) or Holland Page (Honors Carolina Programs).
Each program has specific eligibility requirements. Please confirm your eligibility for each program before starting your application. All applications will require the following materials:

It depends! You do not need to be in the minor to apply for Semester Away, but ECON 125 is the prerequisite. Summer Away in Manchester and Thailand are also open to all students, but Entrepreneurship Minor students are given preference for Manchester.
Summer Away in Prague is specifically for Entrepreneurship Minor students who have completed ECON 325.
The Semester Away Program allows students to complete the majority of the Entrepreneurship Minor in a single semester – students will only need to complete either ECON 101 OR ECON 111 to fulfill all minor requirements once back on campus.
The Summer Away Program allows students to complete one or two components of the Entrepreneurship Minor depending on the program – students would have multiple requirements to complete once back on campus.
