Elevator Pitch

Dr. Ammerman is a professor in the Department of Nutrition, Gillings School of Global Public Health, and Director of the UNC Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. Her research focus is working with community partners on food systems solutions to reduce chronic disease risk and increase economic opportunity among vulnerable populations.
