Elevator Pitch
Tom is Executive Director of Automated Consulting Group (ACG) and CEO of Unbiased Insights. He is the creator of ‘The WISE Guides’, a series of AI-powered manuals used by founders and organizations to overcome startup and growth challenges faster. Tom teaches entrepreneurship at UNC Chapel Hill, where he pioneered AI-based learning systems and authored ‘LAUNCHED’, an AI-driven book that helps students build startups from idea to investor pitch.
With over 30 years of experience, Tom has scaled startups and new business lines from concept to revenue across early-stage ventures and Fortune 500 companies. He advises executives, startups, and teams—such as Duke’s i-Cubed Program—on how to use AI to build better businesses faster. His background spans leadership roles as CEO, CTO, board member, and VP of Engineering, with multiple successful exits, patented innovations, and deep technical roots from his early career at IBM and Qualcomm.
