What to Expect

• This program connects college students and alumni for guidance, encouragement, and real-world perspective. 
• The purpose is to build relationships that support career exploration, professional growth, and community. 
• Mentoring matches are intended to last six months, with opportunities to continue if both parties agree.

Matching Process

• Matches can be made anytime between September and May. 
• Flexibility and open communication will make the experience most rewarding.
• We do our best to align mentors & students by communication preference (email, phone, text, video calls), but exact matches may not be possible.

During the Match

• Initial Contact: Mentors and students will receive each other’s contact information and are encouraged to reach out within the first week. 

• Meetings: Aim for at least one meaningful interaction per month (virtual or in-person if convenient). 

• Focus Areas: Career advice, networking, leadership development, workplace culture, and navigating opportunities. 

• Support: Program resources and suggested discussion prompts are available to help guide conversations. 

After 6 Months of Mentorship

• Mentor pairs can decide whether to continue meeting informally, request a new match, or conclude the formal pairing. 

• At the end of the pairing, we’ll gather your thoughts to keep improving the program and to celebrate the wins from your mentoring journey.
