Shuford Innovators-in-Residence

Entrepreneurship, innovation, and impact that is for everyone.

The Shuford Innovator-in-Residence (SIIR) program was developed to bring diverse subject matter experts (Innovators) to campus who make their living making an impact. The SIIRs program is one of the many ways the Shuford Program for Entrepreneurship is making an impact at UNC-Chapel Hill. While partnering with Honors Carolina, this unique program supports Carolina alumni from all backgrounds as well as students in the College of Arts and Sciences and other colleges and schools on campus.

Each year, we welcome 6 new Innovators to campus, with half arriving in the fall for one week and the other half in the spring for one week. They lecture in classes, sit on panels, host conversations and workshops, and are a huge resource for students on campus during their time here.
