Martin Godwin

Join UNC alum & Shuford Wellness Advisor-in Residence, Martin Godwin, for the second installment of the Shuford Wellness Initiative: Resiliency in the Defining Decade.

We’ll explore how the power of rigorous honesty, acceptance, and the ability to embrace truth is a path to live an optimal life. The results can be a positive and balanced mental outlook and increased personal resiliency. We will introduce approaches and techniques to address better thinking, acting and service that can enhance our life experience and improve our mental wellness.

Over 5 sessions during Fall 2023, a cohort of students will take part in an exploration of resilience. Each week we’ll focus on one of these topics:

*Embracing Your Story
*Clearing Your Headspace
*Your Truth/Your World
*Your Pathway toward Peace of Mind
*Helping Yourself by Helping Others

Sessions will meet at 12:30 pm in the Shuford Suite on these dates: Sept. 21, Oct. 5, Oct. 26, Nov. 16, and Dec. 7
