Career Fair Cram Session- UCS

Career Fairs are one of the best ways to start making connections with organizations who are hiring, whether you’re seeking an internship or a full-time position, because UCS brings the employers to you! Make sure you’re ready to make the most of this opportunity by attending a quick prep session in the weeks leading up to our main spring fairs.

We’ll cover some basic information and strategy for targeting organizations you’re interested in, and then walk through how to start a conversation with a recruiter or organizational representative. You never know which organizations might impress you, so make sure you’re ready to make a good impression on them!

No matter what your major or career interests are, you can make valuable connections at a career fair…UCS can show you how!

Next Steps:

• Make a list of companies/organizations attending the fair that you’d like to talk to, with some specific questions for each one.

• Practice your introduction with friends, classmates, and co-workers until it feels more natural.

• Attend the career Fair and learn more about what opportunities are out there!
