The Power of the Pivot and Perseverance: When Innovation Meets Creativity

The Shuford Program in Entrepreneurship is excited to host the 3rd Annual Shuford Lecture entitled The Power of the Pivot and Perseverance: When Innovation Meets Creativity.  This virtual experience will focus on how creativity and innovation can spark the entrepreneurial process—especially in the midst of times such as these.  To execute this mission, we are showcasing music makers, movie makers, and “mission” makers with special guest appearances from UNC athletes and celebrities. Our speakers will share how they have used innovation and creativity to persevere and pivot their creative and entrepreneurial efforts. Confirmed speakers include Josh Pate ’92, writer and producer of The Outer Banks, currently Netflix’s #1 show in the United States, and Grammy-nominated, American singer and songwriter, Tift Merritt ’00.  This is a virtual experience you do not want to miss!
