Support Us

At the Shuford Program, we believe that entrepreneurship is more than just starting businesses – it’s about fostering innovation, resilience, and leadership. Our students thrive when they have real-world experiences, mentorship, and guidance from those who have navigated entrepreneurial journeys themselves.

Ways To Be Involved

The Shuford Program thrives because alumni, parents, and friends like you step up. Whether by sharing your time, expertise, or personal experiences, there are countless ways you can get involved and help shape the next generation of entrepreneurs—starting today.

Mocktail Reception

Help our graduating students refine their networking skills in a structured, safe environment. These events provide students with the opportunity to practice professional conversations, build confidence, and receive feedback—all for a class grade.

ECON 125 Coach

Guide students through their first entrepreneurial group project in our Introduction to Entrepreneurship course. As a 125 Coach, you’ll provide insight, encouragement, and feedback to help students develop their ideas and teamwork skills.

Lunch & Learns

Do you have expertise in a specific industry or topic? Host a Lunch & Learn session to share your insights with students eager to learn from professionals in the field.

Interview Day

Our graduating seniors need practice to perfect their interview skills before entering the workforce. Volunteer as a mock interviewer and provide real-time feedback to help students succeed in job and internship interviews.

Guest Speaker

Inspire students by sharing your entrepreneurial journey in one of our Shuford classes. Whether you’ve launched a startup, led a company, or pivoted in your career, your story can provide invaluable lessons.

Mentorship

One of the most impactful ways to support our students is through mentorship. Help guide current students as they navigate entrepreneurship, career decisions, and personal development.
